We take our responsibility for the environment very seriously and environmental protection is a key management priority. We’re proud to confirm that all our branches have the Environmental Accreditation BS EN ISO 14001. We have specific policies on waste reduction, recycling and only supply Energy Saving equipment, so you can be assured that you are dealing with one of the most environmentally committed firms in the industry.

Energy Star Dealer - Capital is a member of the Energy Star dealer community and, correspondingly, we only promote accredited products.  We will customise product energy saving features in line with your own energy saving objectives.

Waste Packaging – We reuse packaging wherever possible or recycle. Waste products, such as developers, toners, broken/end of life parts etc. are collected from clients by Field Engineers and returned for recycling.

Used and End-of-Life Products – For ‘low mileage’ used products, the equipment will be fully refurbished in our extensive Workshops and sold again as fully refurbished products.  High mileage/end of life machines are either sold for re-use within the industry or our Recycling Centre strips these machines for the re-use of individual component parts.  Any remaining elements are then recycled appropriately.

Our Brands – Recycling is also one of the cornerstones of our 5 main suppliers – Ricoh, HP, Konica Minolta, Oce and Fujitsu. These companies design and manufacture products in a manner which minimises their environmental impact.    They promote extensive programmes of environmental management based on pollution prevention, energy conservation, recycling and prevention of global warming.

Consumable Recycling – Our Field Engineers remove used/replaced service items and return to our Recycling Centre.  Internal waste is separated and recycled via our approved recycling agent thereby reducing waste to landfill.

Manufacturer Recycling – Our main suppliers also offer reycycling facilities for clients who wish to participate in the recycling of used toner bottles/cartridges.

Helping you reduce your carbon footprint – Document production has wide-ranging environmental impact. With our help, we can make your document output devices run more efficiently and by using print management software we will ensure that much less of your paper ends up in the bin.  Just as important, you can take advantage of environmental credits and work toward achieving your organisation’s sustainability objectives.
