Capital Document Solutions is backing a classical music event as part of this year’s Aberdeen International Youth Festival (AIYF).
The business, which has key operations in Aberdeen, Inverness and Shetland, is sponsoring an ISO symphony of the Interschool Orchestras of New York and Amersfoort Youth Orchestra from the Netherlands.
The collaborative orchestral concert will feature music from Bernstein’s Candide Overture and Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake as well as pieces from Rimsky Korsakov, Ravel, Prokofiev, Beethoven and Copland.
The orchestras will perform on Friday, August 1 at the Music Hall on the city’s Union Street. The performance begins at 7:30pm while tickets, priced at £15 for adults and £10 for concessions, are available from Aberdeen Box Office.

Aberdeen International Youth Festival is one of the world’s biggest celebrations of youth arts. AIYF showcases the very best in the performing arts, theatre, dance, world music, opera, orchestras and jazz from around the world.The popular summer festival runs from Friday, July 25 until Saturday, August 2.
