Following a year of incredible success, which resulted in best ever company results, Capital Document Solutions is to hold its annual conference as a thank you to its staff.
Capital will welcome around 200 people, including employees from across Scotland, to the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) on Friday, January 31 2014.
A number of long-service awards will be presented to staff on the night, while the evening’s entertainment will feature singing sensation Ciara Harvie, daughter of Capital’s Area Sales Director, Mark Harvie. Ciara (16, pictured here at last years conference held at the Signet Library), a self-taught classical soprano, has received widespread praise since she started singing nearly two years ago.
In 2013, Capital acquired Inverness-based Highland Office Equipment and was re-appointed as a successful supplier on the Scottish Government’s National Framework Agreement for Office Equipment.
Additionally, Capital invested £1m in its national IT infrastructure and increased turnover, profit and staff numbers following a series of significant public and private sector contract wins.

In particular, the acquisition of Highland Office Equipment has put us in a very strong position to achieve our growth targets.
“I would like to pay tribute to all our staff for their excellent performance and commitment this year, not least those who will be collecting awards for long service. The next 12 months promise to be just as exciting as we look to further develop the business.”
