Donation
Yesterday, staff and children at Broughton Primary School were delighted to receive a donation of high-quality photo paper.
Capital Document Solutions, the printing and scanning equipment specialist recently donated a pallet of paper to the neighbouring school. The company is in the process of expanding and needed to clear space in the warehouse, but didn’t want to see so much paper going to waste. The pallet contains reams of assorted sample photo paper from HP worth up to £600.
Alexa Pope, Principal Teacher of Broughton Primary School said:
“Thank you so much to Capital Document Solutions for their generosity; they have given us something we can really use and it is of enormous value to us. We will use the paper to print photographs of the children engaged in their activities and we’ll display the pictures in the child’s individual learning folder. In this way we can share the child’s progress and celebrate their success.”
Andy Cleland, Workshop Manager for Capital Document Solutions stated that:
“due to the high degree of quality control that we operate and the mixed-nature of the paper, it was impractical for us to use the paper internally. It seemed appropriate then to give it someone who could put it to better use and we are happy to see a local school get the benefit of it.”
Broughton Primary School
The school is centred on the community of Broughton, just north of Edinburgh city centre, within walking distance of Capital’s Edinburgh head office.
Their motto is ‘Sic Itur Ad Astra’ which translates as ‘Reach for the Stars’.
