Friday 8th December saw Capital’s colleagues dress in their Christmas best in aid of Cash for Kids: Mission Christmas.

Garments and presents for Cash for Kids

As 1 in 4 children in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife live in poverty, or are sick or disabled, Mission Christmas works towards making their Christmas special. We are delighted that our Christmas Jumper Day has raised £121 towards this cause.

The Edinburgh and Aberdeen branches are still registered as drop-off points until Friday 15th December, for people to donate a spare present for disadvantaged children in our cities. If you would also like to give £5 to Mission Christmas, text MISSION to 70808.

Meter Billing Administrator, Lori Desborough who helped organise our Christmas Jumper Day said:

“As a team we love taking part in Mission Christmas! Between toy shopping, Christmas jumpers and group photos, it kicks off the festive season. Many of us listen to Forth One on our way into work and we all like the thought of providing presents for local children, who otherwise might go without.

All that glitters

Our branches in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness are also proud to show off their Christmas decorations – which were particularly authentic in the snowy Highland office!
