As an accredited Living Wage employer, Capital is keen to show its support for Living Wage Week 2017.
We believe it’s important to be one of over 3,500 UK employers so far who voluntarily opt-in to paying the real Living Wage.

Celebrate Living Wage Week in Scotland
Proud to participate in Living Wage Week
Beverley Burness, HR & Operations Manager at Capital said:
“Our company vision is ‘to continuously strengthen our business and be proud of all that we are and do’. This begins with the way in which we look after our staff. We believe that a great customer experience starts with a great workforce who deserve to be paid a living wage. Whether we are looking for staff or tendering for business, it’s become as important a consideration as our quality and environmental accreditations.“
Katherine Chapman, Director of the Living Wage Foundation said:
“Year-on-year, we see organisations and businesses across the UK embracing the real Living Wage. They recognise that a fair day’s pay is the right thing. Also it will improve the quality of staff’s work, reduce absenteeism and increase motivation and retention.
“Today’s increase acknowledges that the cost of living continues to rise for workers everywhere and the leadership shown by businesses who welcome this is a cause for celebration during Living Wage Week, sending a positive message to the business community to show what others can achieve.”
