Capital Document Solutions has agreed an annual donation to support the development of V&A Museum of Design Dundee.
This announcement comes as the construction of the Kengo Kuma designed building starts at the heart of the Dundee waterfront redevelopment.
Managing Director, Tom Flockhart, said “This is a great moment for the city of Dundee and for Scotland. As a company operating across the country and developing our presence in Dundee, we are keen to show our support for a project with such a strong national vision. More locally, it will change the face of the city and the prospects of all businesses in the area. We look forward to seeing this wonderful building rise from the waterfront and I am sure we will enjoy and benefit from the association”.
Sandy Richardson, V&A Dundee’s Development Director, said “We are very grateful for Capital Document Solutions’ support. Having opened up in Dundee 4 years ago, the company has quickly appreciated the impact that the museum will make and committed to the city’s development. We will be very pleased to recognise the company’s support in the building when it opens and on the site hoardings till opening in 2018.
“Over 30,000 cars will pass the site every day, so this form of support offers a great opportunity to be visible in support the museum , with all it says about design and innovation, and the wider regeneration in the city. We welcome opportunities to discuss this further with like-minded businesses”.
