On Saturday 23rd June, Team Capital traded printers for precipices, and took part in the Rob Roy Challenge.
The team completed the Schiehallions Shadow element, which involved a 14 mile walk from Kenmore, and also a 56 mile cycle from Kenmore to West Loch Rannoch and back to Kenmore.
Capital Document Solutions’s team included Andy Wood, Mark Harvie and Gary Allan, who were raising money for HorseBack UK, a charity that works towards rehabilitating injured military men and women from across the UK through horsemanship.
Capital’s champions
The Challenge was incredibly tough. Our team showed some serious bravery and stamina for hours on end, battling over hills and also tough Scottish terrain.
Mark Harvie, Capital’s Corporate Sales Director and Rob Roy Challenger said:
“The Rob Roy Challenge is a well-organised event coordinated by Martin Currie staff and volunteers from the chosen charities. It was a fantastic day on Saturday and although it is a very challenging route, the support and encouragement everyone gives each other to complete the challenge makes it very enjoyable… And helps you get through the pain!”

The Rob Roy Challenge Charitable Foundation
The Martin Currie Rob Roy Challenge is held annually in June and has grown to become one of the most successful fundraising events in Scotland. It will continue to grow and benefit charities for years to come.

Since it was launched in 2006, the Challenge has seen hardy entrants raise almost £3m for a variety of worthy charities.
With the 2018 Martin Currie Charitable Foundation, the charity partners include Marie Curie, Maggie’s, Scottish Charity Air Ambulance, Cyrenians, HorseBack UK and also Youth Can Do It.
