Four new directors have been elected to serve on the board of Inverness Chamber of Commerce for the next three years, including our very own George Lowe.

George at Spotlight 2016
Congratulations, George!
George is a Senior Sales Executive at Highland Office Equipment (HOE), the Inverness branch of the Capital group. With more than eight years’ experience in the office equipment and printing industry, he is a familiar face in the Highlands and Islands. He looks after businesses from Caithness to Oban, as well as in and around Inverness. George is very passionate about all business sectors. As a result, he’s built up a great working relationship with customers, from small business all the way through to large corporate accounts.
Alex Main, the Sales Director of HOE also used to be a director with the Chamber, until he resigned in 2013 to focus on other projects.
Other new members of the board include: Eunice McAdam, a partner in Saffery Champness LLP; Andy Gray, a director with Allied Surveyors Scotland; and also Matthew Harmsworth, a director with aerial imagery provider and drone filming specialist firm ROAVR UAS.
All four new members were chosen by Inverness Chamber of Commerce members and confirmed at its annual meeting.
Stewart Nicol, Inverness Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive, said:
“Our new directors bring a vast amount of experience and expertise to the board. I’m looking forward to working with them over the next three years to improve the Highlands business landscape.”
Inverness Chamber of Commerce, which marks its 125th anniversary this year, held its annual meeting at the Loch Ness Country House Hotel. It was followed by the latest in its keynote lunch series, with guest speaker Professor Chris O’Neil, Principal and CEO of Inverness College UHI.
