Amsterdam’s Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra will be performing Shostakovich Symphony No 1 at the Usher Hall this year as part of the Edinburgh International Arts Festival on Wednesday 27th August and Capital Solutions are delighted to be sponsoring this event.

Jean-Yves Thibaudet also makes a solo appearance at the concert in a performance of Ravel’s highly contrastive Piano Concerto in G, followed by Ravel Daphnis et Chloé Suite No 2.

Capital Solutions actively engages in activities that contribute to society and the development of r culture in Scotland. That is why we support various arts and charitable organisations including the Edinburgh International Festival which we have supported for over 20 years.

“The Edinburgh International Festival was founded in 1947, the Festival grew out of the rubble of the Second World War with the aim of providing ‘a platform for the flowering of the human spirit’ by inviting the world’s best artists and companies to perform, whatever their nationality.” Edinburgh International Festival
