A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…
Well, not that long ago!
About the RSNO
The RSNO is one of Europe’s leading symphony orchestras.
Formed in 1891 as the Scottish Orchestra, the company became the Scottish National Orchestra in 1950. It was also awarded Royal Patronage in 1991.
Throughout its proud history, the orchestra has played an important part in Scotland’s musical life. This also included performing at the opening ceremony of the Scottish Parliament building in 2004.
Our shared values and corporate responsibility
Finally, we are proud that our association with the RSNO goes back many years.
We actively engage in activities that contribute to society and the development of culture in Scotland.
So that is why we support various arts and charitable organisations.
