The Scottish Parliament has awarded Capital Document Solutions a contract for the supply and maintenance of multifunctional devices (MFD’s) and associated software – further bolstering the Edinburgh-based firm’s presence in the public sector.

An award-winning office equipment specialist, Capital will provide a wide range of MFD’s, offering copy, print and scan capability, and print management software for the Scottish Parliament building at Holyrood and MSP offices in constituencies across Scotland.

The contract, which began in April 2014, also includes comprehensive maintenance of new and existing devices as well as IT and training support. It will run for an initial three years with the option of two additional one year extensions.
