Security
The movement of digital and hardcopy documents is part of your organisations daily operations. Every document that flows through your MFP is stored as an image on the hard drive. This can pose as a serious security issue if appropriate measures are not taken to protect this information. Breaches in data security are serious and result in significant fines and penalties from the Information Commissioners Office. So this seminar will include strategies to keep your information safe.
Mobile Working
Over the past couple of years workers have employed technologies that allow them to work away from the office: smart phones, tablets and laptops etc. Once documents are digitized, they can be shared and stored on “the cloud.” The cloud is simply a way of expressing a digital document storage area that can be remotely accessed.

Electronic Document Management
EDM can and should be implemented across every organisation regardless of size. Laserfiche is an example of an EDM solution that also offers digital workflow. Storage, search and retrieval are the three foundations of Laserfiche. Once a hardcopy document has been scanned into Laserfiche or a digital document has been migrated to Laserfiche, it is automatically stored into digital folders. This too can be completely mobile allowing your people to be effective regardless of where in the world they are.
