Lynsey Flockhart, daughter of Capital’s founder and Managing Director, Tom Flockhart, took the leap and completed a sponsored skydive for MS Scotland.

On Sunday 29th October, Lynsey jumped a tandem dive from 10,000 ft at Skydive St Andrews in Glenrothes. She also raised £590 in total for MS Scotland, a community for people living with MS that ranges from scientists, campaigners, volunteers and fundraisers.

The organisation supports its members through their highs and lows. It aims to drive research into more – and better – treatments for everyone. MS is a neurological condition that affects everybody differently. More than 100,000 people in the UK have the condition.

This is a very fitting charity for Lynsey, as she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 14 years ago.

Lynsey said of the experience:

“It was the most surreal, intense and amazing thing I’ve ever done. I would highly recommend anyone give it a go!”

So if you would still like to donate toward’s Lynsey’s dive, you can do so via her JustGiving page. You can also watch the video of her adventure below!

The Flockharts are an active family, with Lynsey’s brother Neil winning both Tough Mudder and the Coast to Coast race a few years ago. Skydiving also proves popular with the adrenaline seekers at Capital, as now retired Salesman Peter Major completed a sponsored skydive in aid of Befriend a Child in 2013… Hats off to you all!

Tom Flockhart, Capital’s MD and Lynsey’s father has said:

“I can’t wait to see what’s next in daredevil challenges!”
