Capital Document Solutions is to hold its annual conference to say thank you to its staff following a year of remarkable success, which culminated in a prestigious award win and best ever company results.

The office equipment specialist will welcome its 170 employees from across Scotland to the Signet Library in Edinburgh on Friday, January 25. A number of long-service awards will be presented to staff on the night.

Former Britain’s Got Talent star Kevin Orkian will provide the night’s entertainment while the daughter of Capital’s Area Sales Director Mark Harvie, Ciara, will also be singing a selection of classical songs. Ciara (15) was among the runners-up in the recent Edinburgh’s Got Talent competition, organised by the Edinburgh Evening News.

In 2012 Capital significantly increased turnover, profit and staff numbers following a series of major public and private sector contract wins. The company also trained a number of young people through its long-standing SVQ apprenticeship schemes as well as taking on four trainees under the Edinburgh Guarantee initiative.

The business also won a prestigious award for the high level and quality of its services to end users in the Scottish public sector. Capital collected the Best Service Award at the Government Opportunities (GO) Awards Scotland.

Tom Flockhart, founder and Managing Director of Capital Document Solutions, said: “2012 was another remarkable year for the company, capped by our outstanding award win at the GO Awards in October.

“Naturally we are keen to pay tribute to all our staff for their excellent performance and commitment. We are equally excited about what’s to come in the next 12 months as we look to grow the business and achieve further success.”
