Inspiration through exploration

An evening with Craig Mathieson founder of The Polar Academy

Wednesday 11th September 2019 5.30pm for a 6.15pm start

We would be delighted if you would join us for an evening with the polar explorer, Craig Mathieson Leader and Founder of The Polar Academy. Find out how this initiative helps ‘invisible’ 14-17 year olds within secondary education to realise their full potential. Craig will be joined by an expedition team member to present and share some of the wonderful images taken on their 2019 Greenland trek.

Craig successfully led the first dedicated Scottish Expedition to the South Pole, man-hauling his sledge 730 miles over the Antarctic Continent back in 2004. Upon his return, the initial idea of The Polar Academy was born.

“I am so proud of these pupils who have committed to the methods of The Polar Academy and have transformed into confident and resilient young men and women. They now know that with focus and effort the seemingly impossible can be achieved. Craig Mathieson.

Featuring in a BBC documentary this October, The Polar Academy has changed the lives of many young men and women in Scotland and beyond, and we would like the opportunity to invite you and a young person in your life who could benefit from hearing from the motivational and inspirational Polar Explorer.

Please RSVP to epedersen@capital-solutions.co.uk by 26th August confirming your attendance, plus the name and relationship of the person you will be bringing with you (if applicable).

We expect this will be a very popular event and have limited availability so we advise you to book in early!

The event will take place at our Edinburgh offices: 101 McDonald Road, EH7 4NW.  Free client and on street parking is available.
