Our 2023 national sales conference – Accelerate – at the Sage Gateshead last week was a fantastic event which was attended by over 100 colleagues from all of our UK offices. For the first time Capital Document Solutions were there as part of the Agilico group. Here’s how the day went:
After refreshments and a chance for colleagues new and old to meet up, the day began with a presentation from Anthony Levy of Circularity First. His informative and thought-provoking message on the environment was a powerful start to our sustainability-led conference, highlighting the important part business has to play in tackling climate change. Following lunch, we were treated to Question Time – three of our customers in the North East discussed their experience of Agilico with our own David Newman. Thank you to them for joining and telling us about the services they use – Managed Print, Invoice processing and Telecoms – and why they selected, and stayed with, Agilico.
The day finished with a review of how our growing business has performed over the last year – our achievements, goals and future plans. In 2023 Agilico’s workplace technology business is bigger and stronger than ever to make work easy for our over 14,000 customers.
From the Sage Gateshead we moved to dinner at Six BALTIC, a Tyneside Icon where conversation in the rooftop restaurant was warmed by the setting sun. After dinner we settled in to recognise the achievements of our teams over the last year with the highlight being the new Tom Flockhart Award for Outstanding Achievement. The award is named after the late founder of Capital, which was deservedly won by Joyce Campbell.
The day, and night, was a demonstration of the strengths across our business from a continued investment in our people, processes, and premises. We are confident in the future for our company and our customers.
