Once more, Capital Document Solutions is delighted to team up with Forth 1 Radio Station for Cash For Kids: Mission Christmas.
Cash for Kids works with thousands of organisations across the UK who support disadvantaged children aged 0 – 18. Mission Christmas works closely with social workers, head teachers and also the emergency services. They nominate families in crisis to be supported by the appeal. It is the largest annual Christmas toy appeal in the UK.
All branches of Capital and Highland Office Equipment will host a Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 8th December. The money raised from this will go towards this fantastic cause.
1 in 4 local children are living in poverty
To help give these children a Christmas to remember, all money donated to Cash For Kids will be used to purchase gifts for different age groups.
Any cash left over after Christmas will go towards Cash For Kids to support local disabled and disadvantaged children.
If you’d like to make a donation
We’re asking you to buy an extra present that we can give to a disadvantaged local child to make their Christmas morning special. We need new and unwrapped gifts suitable for children and young people aged 0-18 years.
If you are in or around Edinburgh or Aberdeen, you can drop by one of the branches to donate your gift at one of our registered public collection boxes.
To donate £5 to Mission Christmas, text MISSION to 70808, or you can donate online.
Capital’s branches will encourage staff to donate a spare present for disadvantaged children in our cities.
Last year’s charity Christmas
Last year, the appeal generated upwards of £15.5 million in gifts and donations. These were distributed to more than 360,000 disadvantaged kids across the UK.
Capital’s jolly Jumper Day 2016 in our head office in Edinburgh raised £62.

Cash For Kids is Forth 1’s main charity
It helps children who are disadvantaged through poverty, and who are sick or disabled. They also help groups and organisations that work to improve the lives of children in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife.
For so many families, Christmas is simply a luxury they can’t afford. This year’s Mission Christmas aims to beat last year’s fundraising total and help make sure it can help as many children as possible.
