Capital Document Solutions has increased its turnover by 11% following a series of public and private sector contracts wins.
The business, which has operations in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Shetland, saw turnover rise year-on-year from £13.1m to £14.5m.

Capital has targeted an increase in turnover of 20% to £17.4m for its year-end in December 2012 and has already secured over £4.5m of business in the first quarter of this year – up by more than 32% for the same period last year.
Tom Flockhart, Managing Director of the business he started 33 years ago, said:
“We continue to achieve growth through an unwavering commitment to standards. We provide world-class hardware and software products, sound professional advice and a truly first-class national service with a local feel and this is what maintains our business success and growth.”
The company provides a range of office document and print solutions including copiers, printers, scanners and software with comprehensive national maintenance and training support.
It specialises in advising public and private sector organisations on how to rationalise its diverse fleet of copiers, printers, scanners and faxes as well as control and reduce copy/print volumes through significant improvements in document processes.
Through these processes, clients can significantly reduce operating costs. In most cases, clients who implement the new improved document solution, achieve savings in excess of 30%.
