Recently we launched our new Makerbot 3D printers. We are now delighted to also introduce you to the MakerBot Replicator desktop 3D printer.
The MakerBot Replicator brings you the easiest and most versatile way to print in 3D. The fifth generation technology brings the new standard for ease of use, quality and reliability. The Replicator is also their fastest printer. It is powered by their intuitive and easy to use software and firmware, designed to work for USB and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The new smart extruder+ is unique to MakerBot. It can send you a message remotely warning you that the filament is about to run out, so you can continue with your print seamlessly. The smart extruder+ has been engineered and tested for better performance leading to greater print success over longer periods of time.
Prints can either be set-up through the 3.5” full colour LCD display or via your computer.
The MakerBot Replicator also features an on-board camera and diagnostics. This allows you to monitor and check up on the progress of your 3D prints. You can also capture images through the full-colour LCD display and share your prints on social media and Thingiverse.

Thingiverse was created as a companion to MakerBot. This site allows users to download and share files for 3D printing. The vast collection, currently at over 500,000+ files, varies from prosthetic limbs to fashion items.
Thingiverse is keen to support young minds and run educational challenges to introduce 3D printing into the classroom. 3D printing allows you to create new items and designs that are created. Either existing or new designs are entered into competitions where the winner will have their design featured on Thingiverse.
