About Aberdeen International Youth Festival (AIYF)
AIYF began its life as a classical music festival in Switzerland in the 1960s. It then moved to Aberdeen in 1973, where orchestras and chamber musicians from across Europe gathered to perform and collaborate.
Today AIYF brings you the very best in international culture and the performing arts, theatre, dance, world music, opera, orchestras and jazz. It continues its commitment to nurture and develop artistic and creative talent.
Over the years AIYF has hosted more than 25,000 young people from around the world, making it one of the biggest and most successful gatherings of youth talent held anywhere.
Stewart Aitken, chief executive officer and artistic director of AIYF, said: “We’re delighted that Capital Document Solutions has continued its support for this year’s festival. It is thanks to their support and that of other companies that we are able to provide a programme of such top class performers each year.”
Tom Flockhart, managing director of Capital Document Solutions, said: “We have sponsored a performance at the AIYF every year since 2009. We’re very much looking forward to this concert. We are very proud to be associated with such talented individuals. It is good to see the programme continue to go from strength to strength.”
